Delicious Cookie Dough Bites

I bought these as a treat for my son, but the problem is, he can’t stop eating them!  Now I have to hide them at the back of the fridge otherwise he could gobble down a whole packet in one day.

These chocolate chip bites are quite expensive, but the pleasure of being able to eat cookie dough (which is often off limits to my son because of his allergy to dairy and egg) makes their price worth while.  They also come in snickerdoodle and sunbetter flavors.

Dairy Free Daiya

I have been using Daiya products for a number of years because they are dairy, soy and gluten free, and are a good alternative to cheese in recipes.  I use the farmhouse blocks and slices for quesadillas and toasted sandwiches, and the cream cheese style spreads are great on toasted bagels.  Just today I found their new alternative to Greek Yoghurt in our local Stop and Shop.  I bought blueberry and black cherry for my son to try.  Incidentally I also noticed that their Cheezecakes had come down in price from around $10 to $7. Good news if you’re looking for a fancy looking, tasty dessert.  Check out their website for more information.  us.daiyafoods.com

Tasty Lunch box filler

I recently found these lunch box treats in the Whole Foods store in Fairfield CT.  Each box has 4 pouches containing about 9 granola mini balls.  They are free from the top 8 allergens, organic and contain real food ingredients.  My son likes the chocolate banana flavor and today we bought the strawberry granola minis to try.  Check out their website to learn more about the other flavors they make and where you can buy them locally.  I think your kids will like them.
