Nut Free Herb Pesto

As you may know, many pesto recipes often include pine nuts or walnuts as an integral ingredient.  Following is a nut free pesto recipe that my family absolutely loves.  It is based on a recipe by Giada De Laurentiis that I found on the Food Network website.  I modified the recipe by removing the pine nuts, but I promise you you won’t miss the nuts.  This pesto is so delicious…. enjoy!
